Jodi Brown is the author of the award-winning, bestselling book, The Sun Still Shines (Gold Quill 2016, LDStorymakers first place, 2014), which has sold over 30,000 copies and has more than 200 five-star reviews on both Amazon.com and 300+ reviews on Goodreads. She also authored the Amazon bestseller, Rise Above Depression, featuring stories by more than 50 individuals who have struggled with depression. Her newest book, scheduled for release in late February 2019, Imperfect Paul E.: The Shocking Disappearance of Polly Potty, is a middle grade story about a fourth grade boy who gets taunted and teased by the school bully.
Ms. Brown believes every person is responsible for taking on the issues facing society and proactively providing solutions, her answers to these problems usually involves telling stories. Jodi has a Master's degree in Organizational Communication and a Bachelor's in PR. She is a professional nonprofit consultant and she teaches nonfiction writing and memoir classes at multiple conferences a year, as well as in local schools.
